INTACT

CHOREOGRAPHED BY

LÆRKE LUND THESTRUP

INTACT is a choreography inspired by the experience of distance and isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. The work explores the importance of human connection and how our relationships shape our well-being, creativity, and motivation—even when we are forced apart.

Through movement, “Intact” reflects on the idea that we are formed through others, and that no one can carry life alone. It is a reminder of the strength found in connection and the necessity of supporting one another.

The piece was originally presented at the Youth Choreography Competition by Dansekapellet and Uppercut Dance Theater in 2021, where it received 3rd place. But it also performed in later in 2021, at a Head Space event.
