Lærke Lund Thestrup is a Danish dancer and choreographer based in Europe. Working across performance and creation, her practice is shaped by international experience and close collaboration within diverse artistic environments.

She has performed with companies including IT Dansa and KOMA Ballet, working with choreographers such as Akram Khan, Ohad Naharin, and Gustavo Ramírez Sansano. As a performer, she is known for her musicality, strong partnering, and ability to quickly absorb and embody movement material.

Her choreographic work is driven by a desire to connect with an audience through movement, sound, contrast, and energy. She is interested in how shifts in dynamics and presence create moments that feel immediate and shared—where the audience is not only observing, but experiencing.

Alongside her choreographic work, she continues to perform professionally, engaging in processes that value both precision and openness.
